Screen / Evaluation
Occupational Therapists are specially trained in optimizing function based on an individual's cognitive level.
Therefore, Mueller Therapy, inc. utilizes the Claudia Allen Cognitive Assessment along with other formal testing
to achieve a better understanding of an individual's abilities. This test is utilized to predict the best ability to
function with daily tasks. Upon completion of the evaluation, therapeutic intervention is determined.
Therapeutic Intervention / Functional Maintenance
After therapeutic intervention, a functional maintenance program is developed and coordinated with the care staff.
This will include tasks such as:
~ Toileting
~ Dressing
~ Transfer Safety
~ Fall Risk
~ Visual Field Cuts
~ Behavior Modifications
~ Functional Mobility
~ Transition to a new environment
Each of these tasks are then analyzed and adapted to a person's abilities.
